With rooms for under 2’s and over 2’s, The Old Bank Nursery provides a homely environment for the children in our care. With an experienced and knowledgeable team, The Old Bank Nursery also provides excellent Early Years Education to prepare young children for primary school

Children's safety is our priority. We have secure door entry systems, CCTV and paediatric first aiders on site at each setting. In addition we have comprehensive health and safety, emergency and hygiene procedures in place

"Our little boy has been so happy since starting at the Old Bank Nursery. He loves showing us his paintings that he’s done and telling us about what he’s been playing with (usually diggers!). His skills have developed exponentially since joining the nursery, and we continue to be amazed when he comes home singing a new song or showing us a new skill. “Ever since our little boy started nursery, he has absolutely thrived. Every day he comes home having learnt new and important skills; the staff work incredibly hard to supply them with a well thought out curriculum. We love hearing all about it during the pick up, and seeing all the creations that he has been making! When we drop him off in the morning he skips in with the biggest smile, which gives us the much needed reassurance that he is happy and safe. The staff always go above and beyond, and take time to talk with us about our child. That level of interaction, and the relationship it builds between parents and staff, is invaluable. “Both my children attend the Old Bank Nursery setting run by Kaleidoscope and thoroughly enjoy their time there. My eldest has made friends and gets excited on her nursery days to go! My youngest who was born during COVID-19 lockdown in 2020 had a tough time adjusting however the staff listened and helped him settle in and now he also can't wait to get through the doors. “Isobel loves her time at Kaleidoscope! We were anxious how she would settle after not interacting at lot with adults, but the whole team made her feel comfortable and she settled in quickly. "Ellery absolutely loves nursery. She loves to say hello to people when we are out and about. Ellery talks non stop and will repeat words back she has never said before and say them very well. Our ground floor nursery in this beautiful building offers childcare for children from 9 months – 5 year olds. The rooms are light and spacious, providing a wonderful environment. This site benefits from onsite parking for all that baby luggage!

The Old Bank Nursery team provide a happy, caring service with a trained baby care team and experienced pre school educators. Along with early years qualifications, the team are also trained in paediatric first aid

Home from Home Environment

We gave very careful thought to the design of The Old Bank Nursery so that we could create a gentle atmosphere with a homely feel, combined with the professionalism of a high-quality nursery. We chose solid wood furniture and gentle, light décor to enhance this grand building’s airy rooms. We feel this has created a homely environment with an air of magical learning for children attending for full day care

Exploring Our Outdoor Space

Staff make excellent use of our courtyard gardens and growing areas to give children a lovely space to play outdoors. Our huge safety mirror provides lots of pretend play and giggles, with sand and water play, a playhouse, a mud kitchen and a garden shed full of toys
