Family Partnership

Family Partnership

At Kaleidoscope Child Care we believe in working in partnership with families to achieve the best possible outcomes for children

Key Person

This member of the staff will be your first point of communication. They will get to know your child well and will work in partnership with your family.

Your child’s key person will be supported by other key workers within their room who will also get to know your child well. Having more than one familiar adult in the setting ensures your child’s happiness and sense of security on staff days off, or if a member of staff should leave

Family Support

As part of the service that we offer to parents we provide support in relation to routines, toilet training, speech and language delay, behavioural challenges, bereavement, emotional attachment.

Family difficulties can be supported by the team so that children are given additional help during times of difficulty

Progress Reports & Photos

The Team will keep you informed of your child’s progress via ParentZone. This is an app that is available to all parents of children who are cared for by Kaleidoscope Child Care Ltd. The ParentZone app will help you to keep up to date with your child’s achievements and activities – straight from your phone. For children under the age of 5, staff record Snapshot observations and Learning Story’s and for children under the age of 3, we enter children's daily care routines and meal times onto the system as well.

Family Events

We organise a range of events during the year so that families can jointly share in the fun of nursery.

Events such as sports day, nativity and graduation ceremonies provide an opportunity for the nursery community to come together. Other events such as World Book Day, Easter Bonnet Parades, dressing up days, charitable events and curriculum related family activities provide opportunities for families to take part in events taking place at nursery
