MAKING MEMORIES, LEARNING, THINKING and HAVING FUN!At Kaleidoscope we believe learning is fun and natural. Children in our Pre-School Department are gently guided through the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) by an experienced team who are devoted to learning through play. The pre-school department has an experienced team including an Early Years Teacher, early years graduates and experienced level 3 and 4 practitioners. Natural learning is encouraged and promoted in an environment that has a balance of adult directed and child initiated learning experiences supported by knowledgeable Early Years Practitioners. Every child at Kaleidoscope has a Key Person. This is a practitioner who gets to know each of the children in their group well, working with parents to ensure that all children are given the best possible start to their early education. There is an effective balance of activities which support playing and exploring, active learning, creating and thinking critically. All areas of the EYFS are given equal consideration by staff as they plan the learning environment. These are; • Personal, Social and Emotional Development Lots of exciting activities are built into the curriculum with Dressing Up Days, Sports Day, Charity Fundraising events and our latest project Wolfie Tots.
